The Taiwan Question/Blame the Jews?
If you have some time, check this out. It’s about 7 minutes long, and very interesting. It is a load of anti-semetic propoganda. Be warned there is a scene where some military personel are filmed brutally shooting some men right in the street. I just watched it again and it is sick. Be careful.
This is the write up from the poster of the video:
Originally made for the people of Taiwan, this English language version shows the secret reasons why Taiwan is losing the psychological warfare and propaganga battle with Communist China.
It is filed in google video under anti semetic garbage, a fitting directory for this film.
Here are some things they allege in the video. There are more but I feel like an ass even repeating them. This is so over the top, but then again, I always try to look for the truth in lies. Can anyone substantiate any part of any of these claims or lay some light onto the tying of the Jews to current day Taiwan? I don’t think so.
1) They say the Jewish Sassoon family controlled the Opium trade for 150 years, and the Brits got the blame for it.
2) They also say the Jews invented communism but the Russians got the blame (or credit) for it.
3) They outwardly claim that – “As a people, the Jews promote conflict and profit from warfare.
4) “It is a historic fact that communism is a Jewish swindle”.
5) Today the Jews of Israel sell the most advanced weapons to communist China.
Remember, this video does not represent the opinion of TRT, but it IS our opinion that it is probable the announcer smoked some of that opium before they filmed.
So, for those of you that don’t care to watch… The Taiwan question is, “Why are we the losers, and not the winners?”.

OMG! you actually put that video in your blog?
I put it up because it is a Taiwan-related piece. To be honest, I was blown away that something like this even exists. I personally found that by watching this it has provoked me to learn more about history of communism and Judaism. I am no historian and unfortunately never studied much about communism or Judaism. It’s very strange that this video links two subjects that I have wanted to learn more about for some time. The video obviously is based in hatred, but it sparked me to think about issues in the world, and that is its silver lining.
Interesting video. Very conspiratory. I think the problem is not just that it’s the “jews”. The Jews, those who practice Judaism, live all around the world so there are bound to be Jews wrapped up in different movements, just as there are folks from other backgrounds. David Sassoon did monopolize the opium trade as a British citizen but only he also traded in silver and gold, silks, gums and spices, opium and cotton, wool and wheat. (source: wikipedia).
I talked about this recently on my site, The Mandate of Heaven, though I didn’t link to it for fear that I would keep it in circulation.
That is a problem. Do you give something so crazy any attention at all, or do you draw attention to it because it is so crazy. I decided to post it because it if fuel for discussion. I guess I should have written a disclaimer before the video that looks like this: “If you are an idiot, or easily susceptible to unsubstantiated claims please don’t read this post”.
I don’t agree with the video or it’s content, however i don’t think it’s neccessarily wrong to put it on the site. Unfortunately i can’t find anything factual enough or relevent enough about the video to make it worth discussing. While it may generate some repsonses from people interested in spreading propoganda and hate i doubt that anyone who really knows about Taiwan
(or anyone who knows the world is not flat for that matter.) would give the video or it’s message a second thought.
Unfortunately, there have been and still are plenty of people out there who have fallen for the claims made in this video. I talked at length on my site (www.wulingren.blogspot.com) about the problem of people spreading disinformation about peoples, groups, and events. It occurs on a daily basis on American talk radio, channels like Fox News, and on-line (“Democrats support Osama,” etc.). From what I have been noticing, disinformation campaigns are also a common feature of the Taiwanese news media. No, it is not always so obvious as in the video to which you like.
