Taiwanese Chinglish: Shirley Temple Becomes Chirley Demple

This is a shirt that one of my students often wears to class. In Taiwan, the style for a long time now is to have English words on your T-shirts. Sometimes they have no errors and are grammatically sound. Many times though they will contain spelling errors, garbled words and/or terrible grammar.

Here is the shirt, and I have even scoured the web for a video of the one and only prodigal child star Shirley Temple, the girl with all the talent and charm from way back when. She is still alive after spending may years in public service.
