Taiwanese Aboriginal New Age Song

Went back to the lantern festival yesterday to catch the last day and one thing I did was record some aboriginal Taiwanese playing their new age song.

  1. These look more like native Indians to me.

    There you have native Taiwanese.

Since you call yourself cultural geographer you should be able to discern between the two

  2. Peter,

Taiwan has many native tribes, not just the Amis tribe. The reason I posted that they were Taiwanese was that they were in Taiwan and the man spoke Chinese in the beginning of the song. Couple that in with the fascination the Taiwanese have with Native Americans and it seemed a good match. I agree however that it is extremely likely that I am wrong with saying they are aboriginal Taiwanese.

And regarding your last comment, that just isn’t nice.
