Here is a video about how to defuse a bomb in Thailand. It is from the Max-X TV series it looks like. The audio on my computer is broken, so I couldn’t hear a thing, but it looks like a funny video. Not too funny for the guy in the end that nearly gets blown up though. Also, I wouldn’t assume this is the model they use for defusing bombs. It had better not be….
The title of the video is Taiwan Bomb Squad, but the miltary guy looks like he is from Thailand… The person that posted this video has a hard time understanding the difference between Thailand and Taiwan, and has written Taiwan when indeed it should have been Thailand written. This is a common mistake though. If you have never been away from your country, Taiwan and Thailand are very similar sounding. So much in fact that when the tsunami happened in Asia several years ago now I received emails and phone calls from friends I hadn’t seen in years, because they thought I was in Thaisomewhere….not Taisomewhere…
