Taiwan 737 Burns

This is old news by now, but I have seen some good write ups about the Taiwanese China airlines plane that burned in Okinawa Japan. First, from B@tTaiwan, a few pictures of a headline from MSN that originally titles the story as China airliner on fire at Japan airport to Taiwanese airliner on fire at Japan airport. I guess this is one distinction between countries that China can live with, as everyone wants to distance themselves from airlines with shoddy records.

Michael Turton points out that Garuda Indonesia, The airline industry’s whipping boy (which I happened to fly from Jakarta to Bali round trip for US $60) has a better record than China Air. I vaguely remember chickens and many prayers on that short flight to Bali. Maybe it was a dream…
