Yeah, if you live in Taiwan you are going to get nailed with some rain for a while .. Drag.. the photo is updated hourly so check back in for updates… And check the news for school cancellations.
Typhoon Krosa is coming. It looks like we are going to get nailed with this one. If you work on Saturday, make sure to verify that they are open.

Here is a surf video made during Typhoon Ewiniar, July 7th, 2006 at Wu Shi, Taiwan. I’ll bet there are some rocking waves rocking right now. It isn’t even raining in Tainan though, but the news is showing Typhoon Sepat kicking Taiwan’s ass.
Looks like we are going to get this one. Check back and see the path. The picture is updates every hour. Expect landfall sometime Tuesday afternoon - evening. Probably not enough to close schools but check the news for updates.

It looks like this storm is going to shoot northward and not cause Taiwan too much grief. Keep paying attention to it though, because it is always possible it could change its mind and give us here in Taiwan a good spray.
Your guess is as good as mine as to whether or not this will bring winds and rain to the isle.

Hot on the heels of typhoon Ewiniar is typhoon Bilis. There have been school cancellations!!! Make sure you call your boss before you go in tomorrow (Thursday). Keep checking official weather sites
Just a quick word about Typhoon Ewiniar; The government has issued a sea alert, and said southern and central areas may begin receiving rainfall sometime today. Here is a current pic of the predicted path of the storm
