Today, being April Fool’s day, almost 30 bands were notified that they aren’t play Spring Scream due to performance VISA issues.
Except it wasn’t a joke, and it’s well past noon already.

Here is a list of the Spring Scream 2008 bands that have been accepted to play this year. Some of these bands may eventually drop out and not play, but his is a good idea of who will actually be there.

The Spring Scream music festival in Kenting registration page is up, so if you are in a band or have some friends that play music in Taiwan, get a few demos together soon and submit them. Check out the main Spring Scream website periodically for updates regarding advanced ticket purchases and other events.

Great Peace Fest again this year. Word has been getting out, and lots more people shows up this year compared with years past. Thanks to the scores of volunteers and bands that made this event great again.

With the help of the boys from Divebomb, we were able to help organize a rocking night for the folks down in Tainan. A big thanks to Dan, Caleb, Kelly, and Adam for making some cool flyers and playing. Adam played drums with the first three bands, so that was about 3 hours [...]
