Scott Cook / A Taiwan Sunset
Scott cook rolled through Tainan last night, a quick stop during his one month stay in Taiwan. I showed up right at the end of his last song, so I couldn’t record anything, that is, until I put him on the spot later and he played a few more songs for those of us that were hanging around in the courtyard at the Armory.
The first recording is a cover of a Ray Spoons song, and is very live, complete with some loud Taiwanese people leaving the bar. The second song is called ‘Guanyin’ from his album ‘A Long Way to Wander’. The video is simple, about 4 minutes of Scotty singing to a nice sunset from a rooftop in Tainan.
