    Hey, anyone know where I can go out for good turkey this Thursday in Taipei? It’ll be Thanksgiving Day, also known as Turkey Day for those who grew up in the States.

    your forum would do better if it wasnt buried under the list of links on the lefthand page with no indication of it being any different from just another blog posting… in fact your navigation links could use an overhaul in general. good luck..

    Thanks for the input. I agree about the forum. I haven’t fully promoted it yet because the bands need time to fill it and work it into something that is a good community resource. I agree with you about the nav links. I will try to make something easier to use…

    Great idea….maybe also an idea possibly for musicians and bands just forming to find other players. We are looking for another guitar player and maybe others to join our little group, but have found it just impossible to locate anyone.
    Either way a most excellent idea….bravo !!!

    @ Kim

    Where are you located? and what style(s) of music are you creating? You can add a topic to the music chat forum and start a looking for musicians thread. I think eventually there should be music stores listed somewhere to, so musicians can find the equipment they need too. No doubt in my mind Taipei is the mecca for music stores, but I have a feeling there may be a few gems scattered throughout the island. There is no shortage of music shops in Tainan, but they all are lacking in serious equipment.

    just wanna let everyone know what’s been going on in the world of THE DEADLY VIBES!!

    We’ve just released our new cd “feels so good, I wanna do it again!”
    So to spread this and our ROCKN ROLL FEVER, we’re doin’ some serious rock fuckn roll all around taiwan.

    Fri, May 31st is the official release at APA in Taipei. Other bands iclude: 130 DOLLARS, JOHNNY FATSTICKS and NEW HONG KONG HAIR CITY!!!

    Kaohsiung is next on the list.
    June 7th at ‘Join Us’ with 130 DOLLARS, SQUIDS (catch them before they completely disappear!) and DJ Tom Bass.

    Other shows iclude:
    6/20 the armory Tainan (FREE SHOW) with DIVEBOMB!!
    6/21 at 89K Taichung with 130 DOLLARS and DR. RENICULOUS LIPZ
    other shows TBA or check our myspace for updates….

    Good job, I have enjoyed visiting this site prior to my first time coming to taiwan for work. I’m now here for my second time and this site has been very useful.

    I have question for anyone out there… I need to find a western model for a product catalog photoshoot for the week of June 16th to 20th (not sure which day yet). Any one know where I can find a modeling agency? I will look at the bulletin boards but any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi, i’m studying chinese in taipei..just arrived here last week..is there anybody here learning chinese too? how long have you take it until fluent speaking n reading?

    Fluent? Depends on how fluent you want to be and how hard you work at it. I would say a minimum of 3 years for fluency with a lot of hard work. To speak a bit.. Maybe 6 months to string several pertinent sentences together.

    Hello all people!
    I am moving to Taipei next year to start a new job. I am racing dirtbikes/motocross in Sweden and was planing to keep on going in Taiwan. I am wondering if you can buy a new Honda CR-F 250 in Taiwan and how much they cost or if i have to bring down my own?
