Turkeydinner’s Film “Convenient” Plays at Urban Nomad
Yeah. It was fun to attend the Urban Nomad Film Festival in Taipei to watch some great short films, to share my film Convenient, and just to hang out with the types. I’m leaving Taiwan in 8 hours and don’t quite know if I’m coming back. It’s been a great run. Convenient was one of those things that I always wanted to happen before I left. Sean Scanlan, David Frazier, and Uncle had a wicked attitude and a few cameras kickin around so it happened. We didn’t tell the lady working at the counter. We walked in there before and planned out where we were going to shoot from, then we did it. After all the flappin I did about how bad I wanted to do it…. All I could think about was how stupid this is and why the fuck am I doing this. AS you can see, the lady treated me like any other customer. When I put my sandwich down on the counter she asked in Chinese “would you like me to heat it up for you?” Unreal. Anyway we needed to go back in there again to get a couple more angles… she was such a good sport. Taiwan was such a good sport. Taiwan has been the best host to me that I could have ever imagined. I bid you farewell Taiwan. It was convenient.
