Taiwan High Speed Rail

Taiwan High Speed Rail has finally begun service. I think the first day of operations was today, January 5th.

Here’s a short video demonstrating how fast Taiwan’s high speed rail goes. I think it will go 300-350km per hour once they throttle it right up.

Have not heard from my friend Ivy Tang in Tiawan - got worried so started looking into Tiawan News - I think she’s probably fine - but ran into all kinds of great views of what life is like in Tiawan - This Train is Ahwsome! - Your Country has a Smart Idea behind Mass Transit - US is still pretty SLOW on that front.

  2. No problem Nadine. One of our goals is to help give people a way to see Taiwan as it is. Call it a view of Taiwan, or a window on Taiwan.
