Fireworks
Check out this video if you want to see more about the Yan Shui Fireworks festival. It is an exciting event that happens once a year in, you guessed it, Yan Shui (about an hour from Tainan). This years event already happened, so you’ll need to wait until next year to participate. I personally like the little dance people do, as it looks like they are doing some sort of voodoo ritualistic dancing. I think they do this to protect their feet, as many rockets can land and explode on or near the ground. It’s not an even for the weak of heart, but it’s something you shouldn’t miss while you are in Taiwan.
